Sir, - A few months after the Berlin Wall came down I had thepleasure of visiting Halle. Strolling through the town, I stopped infront of Handel's statute in the main square.
My companion, a native of Halle, looked at me and laughed. "I knowwhat you're thinking," he said. Yes, he was right, I was at that momentthinking of Handel and Dublin.
