Sir, - The Dublin Simon Community is approaching its 30th year working with and for homeless people. We run a number of projects and services, staffed by a mixture of full-time and voluntary staff.
We are holding an introductory meeting for anyone over the age of 18 who may wish to become involved as a part-time volunteer on Wednesday, November 4th, 1998, at Bolton Street College, beginning 8 p.m. sharp. The commitment is approximately four hours per week for at least 12 months. At this time, we are particularly keen to hear from people available for weekend (specifically Saturday evenings) work.
