Sir, – CrimeCall on RTÉ regularly broadcasts images of criminals going about their work of robbing various business establishments throughout our land. For some reason this seems to aid in their identification and presumably subsequent prosecution.
Now that the Data Protection Commissioner has questioned the right of one of our city councils to publish the images of litter lawbreakers, will that office take up the case of protecting the right to privacy of our other lawbreakers? – Yours, etc,
