Madam, - Travelling into town through Donnybrook late the other evening, I noticed that the traffic lights at the Morehampton Road/Marlborough Road intersection are now completely hidden behind a collage of election posters festooning a nearby lamppost.
I have never been a particular fan of traffic lights from a strictly aesthetic perspective, but I am not sure that the visual delights of the candidates' dentistry compensate for the additional risk to life and limb caused by these posters. - Yours, etc
