Sir, - Many lamp-posts in Dublin are still festooned with unsightly, protruding cable-ties which held election posters in place.
Perhaps, even at this late stage, the political parties (and nonparty candidates, where appropriate) would consider completing the job of poster removal. - Yours, etc.,
