Sir, – As an Irish person living in London managing a pub I have always enjoyed an hour in the morning perusing The Irish Times. Your newspaper is informative, challenging and enjoyable. I also enjoy the crossword and the few clues I can't solve are passed along the bar for someone to claim a little victory as they finally write in the last clue. Reading in your paper that we in the UK will no longer receive a print edition was a shock that hit me harder than the Brexit decision.
I may continue to read online but passing my mobile phone around for assistance in my crossword does not seem the same as a creased newspaper meandering its way down the bar for a solution to “nine across”.
