Sir, – I must correct the statement in the article on EVA International (Aidan Dunne, Culture, June 11th) that Paul O’Reilly was a founder member of the exhibition.
Mr O’Reilly was not a founder member and did not become involved with the exhibition until he was appointed administrator in 1979, two years after the annual show began. He subsequently served in this capacity and was never at any stage in his long involvement with the exhibition a member of EVA.
I wish the new EVA International every success in its new, long-awaited biennial format. – Yours, etc,
