Madam, - On a recent visit to Wexford I stopped in Clonroche for petrol and The Irish Times. Having paid, I enquired about using the toilet and was told curtly that would cost 30 cents. I decided instead to go down to the woods with the bears.
It will not surprise me if pubs follow suit and charge customers to go to the "loos" too! Did I hear someone complain about expensive Ireland? - Yours, etc.,
