Sir, – In the article , "Patients fail to show for nearly 500,000 appointments in 2017" (Home News, October 30th), the HSE cites many reasons for these failures to attend, with one glaring omission. Those who have passed away before their long-awaited appointment. I know of two such cases. Has the HSE collated these figures? – Yours, etc,
