Madam, - The letter from Paul Kilcullen (January 14th) is really sad. Unfortunately it vividly highlights the urban-rural divide.
He says:"Farmers feed our bodies, teachers feed our minds. Farmers get paid for doing nothing .... now teachers want the same".
I suppose he thinks the crops that I grow just sow themselves, fertilise themselves and harvest themselves - and my cattle are just part of the landscape, with no time or monetary input from me.
