A chara, – I would like to wish former taoiseach Enda Kenny well in his retirement and to thank him for all the efforts he made to get Britain to “come clean” on the 1974 Dublin-Monaghan bombings which reduced my old watering hole The Welcome Inn to a pile of rubble. Good fate had me elsewhere at the time.
Perhaps the current British prime minister might join Gerry Adams on the Oprah show (Irish Times Supplement, February 6th, 2013/2023) and then they could both come clean? – Yours, etc,
