Sir, – The opinion polls indicate Fianna Fáil cannot form a single-party government after the forthcoming election.
Given it apparently refuses a coalition with Fine Gael or Sinn Fin, its electoral offering seems to be “vote us into opposition”.
Why does it think the electorate will be attracted to vote for a party that has such a poverty of ambition? – Yours, etc,
