Madam, - I was shocked to read in your Magazine of November 2nd, in the article on Madrid, the positive suggestion that the visitor could go to the bullfight. As long as visitors attend, there is no hope of Spain outlawing this cruel and hateful "sport".
Holidaymakers should remember there are plenty of other countries, with sun, sand and nightlife within easy reach and which do not indulge in this brutality. - Yours, etc.,
