Sir, - I find it remarkable to see how quickly the Government has managed to find a judge to chair the new tribunal on Garda corruption when it has failed so far to find anyone to assist in the Flood tribunal's inquiries into planning corruption despite an apparent search ongoing since last July.
It is truly awesome to see the speed with which the Government can move when it is politically expedient to set up tribunals and depressingly predictable when it allows them to stagnate for fear of the tribunal actually achieving something. - Yours, etc.,
