Sir, - Thank you for publishing Vincent Browne's article on the inequalities in our society (Opinion, March 13th). Obscenity is the only word that can describe a policy which is prepared to spend over €500 million on a sports facility when Travellers are still without proper halting sites, the waiting-lists for housing are lengthening, those in various institutions because of their vulnerability are without proper amenities and the Minister for Finance is saying that the present cost of medical care is unsustainable, despite the fact that the waiting lists for hospital beds are constantly lengthening.
