Sir, - I refer to Tim Jeans's letter "Paris Flights" (March 1st) and wish to make a further comparison between the two airlines referred to. At the beginning of February, following an Aer Lingus advertisement telling us the good news of its £99 Dublin/Paris return, I called the booking office to request seven seats on this .route for the end of August.
With six months advance booking, they could not offer me any seats at this price. Some days later when Ryanair announced its low fare on the same route I immediately telephoned, and with no problem whatsoever they were able to confirm the booking. We merely wish to get to Paris; the location of the airport is immaterial. - Yours, etc.,
