Sir, - I agree with Gerry Twomey's sentiments (January 10th), but I do not believe it should be necessary to have a "National Turn Off Your FogLights Day". According to Article 44 of the 1963 Act governing vehicle regulations, foglights must not be used except in fog or falling snow. If this Act is still in force it should be enforced by the Garda. - Yours, etc.,
