Sir, – I read the article about the crisis in Irish agriculture due to a shortage of farm fodder (Alison Healy, Home News, April 26th), while on the Front page there’s a photograph of an artist displaying a giant haystack as an art work.
Perhaps the artist, Patrick O’Reilly, could shorten his exhibition and give the fodder to some stricken farmers? It might even give a bit of depth to the aesthetics of the work too. – Yours, etc,
