Madam, - Máire Kelly (December 22nd) takes me to task for apportioning blame to Mobuto Sese Seko, who lived like a king for many years on money that was intended for the development of Zaire and its people.
Sorry for the offence, Ms Kelly, and sorry for my apparent lack of knowledge about the ways of international finance, but I think that Mobuto and the many others like him are the scum of the earth. They have the blood of countless innocent people on their hands. - Yours, etc.,
