Sir. The nation proudly witnessed the courage of TV camera crews, hardened by their experience of recent war zones, last Thursday night on RTE's Prime Time. Without any thought for their own safety, the intrepid crew dared to approach within a couple of hundred yards of CJH as he cantered, Napoleon like, along the sea shore at Malahide. The crew did take the wise precaution, which was frilly justified, of using a telephoto lens, an absolutely essential defensive piece of equipment. This is the type of behaviour we have come to expect from the best of investigative journalism and of which RTE can be rightly proud. They, no doubt, felt that the danger to life and limb did not justify the seeking of an interview. Nevertheless, the taking of this important footage must put them in line for some prestigious award. Your, etc..
