Sir, - I was most concerned to read in your article "Judge calls time on Galway's `dreadful' girls" (July 25th) of the plight of respectable young Galway men and their inability to meet "nice respectable girls" in the nightclubs.
They may like to consider coming North where "nice respectable girls" are in abundance. Failing this, perhaps some nice judge would take on the plight of all us "nice respectable girls" in the North who only ever seem to meet the type of man who can only be described as "dreadful". - Yours, etc.,
