Sir, – There are already crowds of people gathering outdoors in public places and parks. We witness the potential danger of this on a daily basis. The formal permission to meet from April 12th onwards in such places will hugely increase numbers there and will make social distancing between groups even more problematic, to say the least.
While the slow relaxation of lockdown is welcome, can someone explain the logic in forbidding people to meet in the safety of their own gardens? – Yours, etc,
