From the potential prospect of hosting two super-spreader events, to describing the cancellation of his 2014 shows as “like at death in the family” to flying all the way from the US just to publicise the shows that were already announced, I would suggest there is an abundance of ego to match his tone-deaf stance.
Mr Brooks wants to play at Croke Park multiple times for the simple expedient of making more money. It appears it is he who is living “as high as that ivory tower” to quote from his most popular song. – Yours, etc,
