It seems that the people have expressed their approval of Mr Lowry and his ability to combine politics and home improvement. Now is a golden opportunity for him to make more "best friends for life".
For me, it is small consolation to know that you can't fool all of the people all of the time, when it seems (in some cases at least) that you need only to fool a certain percentage of them at any one time to be elected to Dail Eireann. - Yours, etc
