Madam, - I was very flattered to see that I was suddenly worthy of an Irish Times profile (" Global King of Comedy", November 29th) until I read the piece and saw how little of it bore any resemblance to the life I'm currently living.
The many errors were annoying (no reason why anyone should be interested, but there's a full list up on my site http://whythatsdelightful.wordpress.com/ ), but none more so than the claim that I was "disappointed" with Adrian McCarthy's documentary, Funny Business, which was broadcast on RTÉ last year and had me as its subject.
I want to make this very clear - I absolutely loved Adrian's documentary. I hope that RTÉ repeats Funny Businesssoon so that more people can see how good it is, and what a skilled film-maker is behind it.
Disappointed? I'm only disappointed in The Irish Times. - Yours, etc,
