Madam, - I am by now well used to the overbearing intrusions caused by the sights, sounds and attitudes of today's affluent Dubliner. As I sit in my back garden of a summer's eve it seems to have reached new heights, evidenced by the numbers of helicopters criss-crossing the south Dublin skyline.
But on sad reflection it is most probably easier and quicker to gain a pilot's licence than that needed to drive a car. - Yours, etc,
