HUGH F. RYAN,
Sir, - Your News Digest of July 1st reports: "Around 400 members of the Independent Orange Order arrived at the Battle of the Boyne site yesterday after spending two hours on a coach that travelled under PSNI and Garda escort."
While this is of course, barbaric cruelty, they should be grateful that they were not travelling by overcrowded commuter train on the Drogheda-Dublin line or on the Skerries bus, which now requires up to two-and-a-half hours to travel 18 miles to or from Dublin (with a pit stop at Swords). - Yours, etc.,
HUGH F. RYAN,
