Madam, - I have no doubt AIB's efforts to trace customers they have ripped off will be indefatigable.
However, I have decided, in a spirit of helpfulness, to assist the process by writing to my AIB branch to remind them of my foreign exchange transactions over the years.
I suggest other AIB customers might do something similarly constructive to help the bank return their money. - Yours, etc.,
