Madam, - I refer to an article by Frank McDonald in your Thursday Property section (p.22) regarding the granting of permission to a large development near Heuston Station (the Eircom scheme).
In the article, Mr Anthony Reddy, the scheme's architect is quoted as saying that he had consulted An Taisce amongst others and suggested that we were generally accepting of the scheme.
Could I simply state that An Taisce never endorsed this scheme and our letter to An Bord Pleanála specifically requested a rejection of the scheme as presented. - Yours, etc.,
