Sir, – Frank McNally’s suggestion for “self storage” is a brilliant idea (An Irishman’s Diary, December 7th). It is, however, only a development of an idea put forward by that 20th-century “Frank McNally”, Myles/ Flann/ Brian. He/they came up with an idea where every person in the country would stay in bed for one full day each week. – Yours, etc,
