Sir, - Has the speed limit for trucks been changed, or is it still 50 m.p.h? Does any truck driver take the slightest notice of speed limits?
Have you noticed the number of trucks involved in accidents each day (just listen to Morning Ireland)?
I realize that speed has become a fetish in Ireland, but this seems to be a very disturbing development.

By the way, is the speed limit for the truck "cabs" the same as for the full truck? Some of these "tractor units" are obviously being driven by Grand Prix drivers. - Yours, etc.,
