Madam, - Dr Shane Corr, who warns of the dangers arising from the pursuit of the Government's hospital co-location plan, may be heartened to know that among the objectors to plans to build such a hospital in Cork are Minister for Foreign Affairs Micheál Martin, his Fianna Fáil colleague Michael McGrath and Senator Dan Boyle of the Greens.
Whether these good gentlemen are objecting as a matter of principle or are simply being opportunistic is not quite clear.
Perhaps Health Minister Mary Harney could offer us some comment on this internal opposition to the cornerstone of her health strategy.
