Madam, - I am a Spanish man living in Ireland with my wife for four years. Five months ago we decided to settle in Ballingarry, Co Limerick.
On Thursday evening two Fianna Fáil representatives knocked on my door. After I greeted them with an "hello", the only thing I heard from them was: "Is there any Irish living in the house?"
No hello, handshake, like that offered to my neighbours. Is this the way to deal with a future voter? Is this a mannerly way to approach anybody, local or foreign? - Yours, etc,
ANDRES LONGARES, Ballingarry, Co Limerick.
