Sir, – Your article “How green are the homes in your county?” (Home News, December 6th) implied the demise of the chimney in that houses need an “airtight” construction to achieve a high BER rating. The sacrifice of children not now able to write to Santa unfortunately was not ventilated. – Yours, etc,
