Madam, - Congratulations to Cork City Council on its decision to save the Huguenot graveyard. I urge it now to have the plot cleaned up and the headstones preserved, and to arrange for information and some degree of access to be provided for citizens and visitors.
At the same time, I hope Cork will not repeat Dublin's mistake: over the gate of the cemetery in Merrion Row, the name of the community is glaringly misspelt as "Hughenot". - Yours, etc,
