Madam, – Why do so many TV and radio presenters and reporters insist on ignoring the full stop at the end of a sentence and carry on to the middle of the next sentence before taking a pause for breath, thus making a nonsensical meaning of the report? This is clearly a bad presentation practice from reading scripts, cue cards and autocue and needs to be corrected by appropriate elocution and speech training before the listening population switches off.
