A chara, - Having just read Kevin Myers's Irishman's Diary (of September 10th) I believe he is in urgent need of our help and support. Consequently I think it only proper and correct that you ban future criticisms of his Diary from your Letters page.
We simply cannot have the great man writing anonymous or pseudonymous letters to himself in his diary and even referring to himself as "an infantile so-called diarist". I suggest all letter-writers join my "don't irritate Myers" (DIM) campaign and for ever more agree with, praise and bow to the supreme diarist. - Is mise,
