Madam, - I am a Danish visitor staying in Dublin for a month. One day I went to visit a friend's grave in Glasnevin Cemetery. On my way back to O'Connell Street I missed a turning and lost my way. I found that the Millennium Spire guided me back on the right track until I actually stood right next to it again.
I find it a great and impressive new monument in Dublin. Apart from its function as a sort of beacon, it is also a very useful place to arrange to meet people. So I want to say "thank you" for this addition to Dublin's already considerable attractions. - Yours, etc.,
