Madam , - Last Friday's International Rules match between Australia and Ireland was a truly disgraceful spectacle. It wasn't so much a game as a running fistfight, with nearly all the violence being instigated by the Australians.
I hope the GAA will put this ugly, pointless concept out of its misery by announcing that they will not take part in any further series. - Yours, etc,
