Sir, - Mark Urwin's letter of April 10th was both accurate and quite courageous. He made a very valid point when referring to the Irish media who "bend over backwards so as not to offend British sensibilities".
After the recent visit of Prince Charles to Ireland (and the media hype that accompanied "the royal visit"), I wrote a letter to your paper enquiring as to whether or not a full apology for the atrocity of Bloody Sunday would be appropriate from Prince Charles, in his position of Colonel In Chief of the Parachute Regiment.
Surprise, surprise, my letter was not published, as I am sure neither will this one. - Yours, etc.,
