A chara, – It was with great pride and a wide smile that I read about what makes our country great (Life Culture, November 17th). Perhaps it is now time for us all to change our focus to what we have, rather than what we think might be taken away from us, and get on with life. After all, there were no complaints five years ago that we were making too much money, and in light of the recent tragedies in Limerick and Cork, we should all be thankful for those that we have around us, rather than worrying about what insignificant little we may lose come December 7th. – Is mise,
