Madam, - Did we really have to know the details of the "Irishman's HIV story" as published in your magazine of January 27th?
This saga of the apparent outcome of a young man's couplings was crass, vulgar, tasteless and reprehensible in the extreme ("the girl was a ride"). In giving it and him publicity, you have indeed reached a nadir - the level of a cheap tabloid.
Is there any shame or decency left in the world of newspapers?
