Madam, – Monday's Prime TimeInvestigates programme highlighted the action taken by certain developers to shield their assets. Properties and land were moved into the names of their wives just prior to the setting-up of Nama. Which really was very fortunate timing – curious! We should be under no illusion about the actions of the Irishtocracy, comprising Cabinet Ministers, developers, bankers, and senior civil servants, which are well co-ordinated by the Old Pals Act. This insidious malaise has spread its tentacles into every important decision making body.

Regulations and laws are for us: the little people. We have to suffer the cuts in welfare, health, and education while the developers squirrel away their assets, and Cabinet Ministers walk away with huge pensions before they are even 60 years old.

This malaise could well prove terminal for our democracy should the extreme left be able to exploit the simmering fury of the electorate. That would be an awful price to pay for the greed and incompetence of the Irishtocracy. – Yours, etc,
