Sir, - Victoria White is in error when she describes Brian Reynolds's master's thesis as "unpublished" ("When the Chips Are Down", Magazine, January 19th). An attractive, illustrated edition of the work, entitled Casalattico and the Italian Community in Ireland, was published in 1993 by the UCD Foundation for Italian Studies.
Although the book has sold very well, copies are still available at €19, and may be obtained from booksellers, or from me. - Yours, etc.,
