Madam, – So the British have decided to jail one of their MPs (with probably more to follow) for fraudulent expenses claims (World News, January 8th). Should we Irish dare hope that the law will prevail in Ireland on the same issue, and that some of our erstwhile “masters” (including members of the Opposition) will soon be occupying rooms in “The Crowbar Hotel”? – Yours, etc,
