Madam, - RTÉ's film on James Plunkett Kelly was a fitting tribute to a hugely talented and modest man. His concern for the underprivileged was total. We believe, though, that the programme neglected to give the full story on him. He was a deeply religious, practising Catholic. Attendance at Mass and recitation of the Rosary formed part of his daily routine.
We think it important that these facts be mentioned in today's cynical world, where left-wing views are immediately identified by many as being compatible only with atheistic or anti-Catholic stances. - Yours, etc.,
