Sir, – I am delighted that The Irish Times now feels that there is a "ring of truth" to the idea of Labour, under Jeremy Corbyn's leadership, forming the next UK government (Editorial, "Corbyn's moment", September 28th). You have come a long way since your editorial of May 15th this year, when you confidently declared that Mr Corbyn was a politician "who no-one can seriously visualise leading the country". However, I am disappointed that you insist on characterising his post-Brexit vision as too vague. Still, it should be conceded that you are, finally, "nonetheless going in the right direction". – Yours, etc,
JOE McCARTHY,
Arbour Hill,
Dublin 7.
