Sir, – Further to "Johnny Ronan apologises for using 'Arbeit Macht Frei' phrase" ( September 27th), if the Oireachtas banking inquiry opts to defer to Mr Ronan's request to strike his comment from their record, we will once again be bending to the will of the moneyed class. Airbrushing must be avoided. It is enough to have the taxpayers subsidising these so-called wealth creators. – Yours, etc,
