EIMER PHILBIN BOWMAN,
Sir, - In thanking Kathryn Holmquist for her interview with us (Weekend, April 13th) on the publication of the book Jonathan, one point of fact needs correction: while he had earlier been prescribed anti-depressants, Jonathan was not on any medication at the time of his death.
Some misunderstandings may have arisen from the fact that each of us was interviewed separately. While I did comment that Jonathan seemed to relate personally to everyone he met, not even he, I think, would claim to have had one thousand "close friends". - Yours, etc.,
EIMER PHILBIN BOWMAN, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
