Sir, - It was wonderful to learn that the Joyce manuscript "Circe" was on its way back to its rightful home in Dublin after the auction in New York last week. The National Library of Ireland should be congratulated on its foresight, but I must question why it had to employ Maggs and Company, antiquarian bookseller of London, to represent it. It is downright insulting that an Irish bookseller was not used for this important transaction. - Yours, etc.,
Dr Philip Murray, Ballincar, Sligo.
